Modifying the Session Menu in Oneiric

Asked by Bruce Reidenbach

Is there a way of adding an application to the Session Menu (I hope I have that name right, the "cog" menu in the upper right corner)?

I'd like to add Ubuntu-Tweak to the menu and Google and grep have not been my friends so far.

Thanks.

Are you talking of application bar launcher on the left of screen...?

No the session menu on the top right of the screen (the "cog"), the one that contains menu entries for "System Settings...", "Displays...", "Startup Applications...", etc.

Still an open question but some alternative options.

Thanks for providing that link, which was the same question as mine. Sorry to clog up the system with a duplicate question.

I would like to second the option of the author of the original question, Anthropornis Nordenskjoldi, "If indeed gone, I am only wondering if (and hoping that) that functionality will be restored, or if it will not, or if it is something the Unity developers haven't actually thought about but will consider."

Can you help with this problem?
