An issue about unity: feedback

Asked by stefan metodijev

I installed 11.10 recently, and I was surprised to find the user interface user-unfriendly.

Clumsy symbols, Tiny, x, square and minimize,

when looking at pictures I must click every single one of them to see them, instead being shown in thumbnails,
I have troubles installing ONE NORMAL music player...., etc.

Is there a way to contact Ubuntu, so that they can make it better in the future...?

Or what?

Could log a bug and/or suggest on http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com

If you can define what you mean by a 'normal music player' we may be able to advise.

Audacious and aqualung i consider to be "normal" in the vein of XMMS and winamp. however, I don't consider anything in the repo to be as good as XMMS was - both have a considerable memory and CPU footprint, and can sometimes have problems with pulseaudio

VLC and gnome-mplayer are pretty normal, I also use deadbeef which isn't in the repos. Normal for one person is alien to another, so using words like "normal" with out a qualifier makes the word meaningless...

What's a normal media player in any OS?

Can you help with this problem?
