I No longer have this centre in the launcher?

I may of inadvertently removed the centre thinking it was another, how do I get it back?

sudo apt-get install software-center on terminal,
or
installing software-center using Synaptic will do the job

Press on the top left icon then type software-center the run it then go to the left icon list and select the software-center icon right click and select keep on launcher

Thanks , I did not manage to get what exactly what I had before, when I had a choice of new downloads.
But what I did achieve downloading was the synaptic manager which another had mentioned namely :-delance
I used :-marcobra to point me to the last box on the left at the top left hand side (Ubuntu11.10) clicked on that I notice after I typed software synaptic manager appeared below I remembered :- delance saying about this manager in his suggestion and that he would not be without it. so I installed it and when it was finished I did what :-marcobra said right clicked it before closing thus keeping it in the launcher.

Satisfied that I need go no further I would say that JOB DONE thanks to both the boys that contributed
