Left side dash board not showing

HI,

I m using UBUNTU 11.10.Yesterday i was playing with the compiz manager,i changed the rotation pattern of screen to CUBE.
After that left hand side Dash board got lost,also no toolbar is showing on the top.And i also dont know much shortcut keys in Ubuntu.

Please help!!

have you tried turning off the cubed setting? not sure what setting you plan to keep.

to open dash you can press the super key (windows key) on your keyboard. you should be able to search for the compiz manager and change the settings.

you can press CTRL+ALT+ F1 to enter terminal.
ALT+Tab to switch between open windows.

you can try entering "ccsm" in at terminal to get to the compiz settings.

might i add that after you press CTRL+ALT+ F1 to enter terminal

you can press ALT+F7 to get back to your GUI .. very important
