Make Unity Ubuntu look more professional

Asked by George Silviu Enea

Make Unity look more professional, with smaller icons, smaller texts, less dull colors... please make that sidebar fixed, what`s the point of making it autohide?

When you click on Dash home button, make that window smaller, more professional. Make Unity cleaner, smaller... is that possible?

Thank you so much!

You can change the size of unity in ccsm
http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2011/02/unity-launcher-icon-size-to-be-resizable/

Smaller == more professional?

Dash can be resized in the bottom right corner.

Thank you for your response. Dash cannot be resized in Buntu 11.10 beta1 for me... smaller doesn`t always equals to professionalism, but...

At the moment I cannot find the Compiz config to resize the icons on the sidebar, and cannot install it either, Software Center is dead...

sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager; ccsm

If you cannot do basic stuff like that then you should NOT use Oneiric, it is not ready and not stable.

ccsm has the section shown in the omgubuntu I gave, not sure about resizing dash.
