I have no controls, I can't access files or controls, I can't even minimize a window, or shut the computer down. There is no tool bar, no nothing. How do I get it back, or at least delete the upgrade and go back to the last version? This is my main computer, and I am desperate. Please help.

I didn't see any options. I was able to log on in safe mode. I don't think this version of Ubuntu works very well. Still a lot of kinks. Do you know how I can go back to 10.10 without doing a complete reinstall?

When you come to log in. Click your name then at the bottom of the screen select gnome classic.

Then in a terminal run:

gnome-session-save --logout-dialog
