11.04 Menu Disappeared

I updated last night to the latest version of Ubuntu and turned on my netbook this morning this morning and I have no menu. Not even a clock. Nothing.
How I got to the internet is by clicking "Help" from the shutdown menu. Then clicking "Get Help Online" from there.

I would really like my computer back so I can finish my work. =\

Press ALT+F2 and run:

killall gnome-panel; nautilus -q; nautilus -k
