Use old menu, instead of new.

Asked by Bambie Murphy

Is there away of using the old menu on ubuntu 11.4, as I am really not liking the new launcher.

Also since the change to the new menu, my pc seems to be going slower and crashing more.

Yes. In the login screen, select your user and before entering the password at the bottom select classic.

@ marcus
There is nothing that says Unity.

@ Bambie
Unity is 'Ubuntu' session, Gnome2 is 'Ubuntu-classic'.
## Without effects will be Unity-2d in Oneiric and Gnome2 will be gone for good, because there is Gnome3.
