Can't change mouse size after upgrading to Natty 11.04

Asked by Wyn

Works well before from older version of Ubuntu but when I upgrade to Natty 11.04 I can't change the mouse size in:

Appearance -> Customize -> Pointer -> change size slider

I manage to change the appearance (mouse icon) but not the size, using:

sudo update-alternatives --config x-cursor-theme

Is their a command line that I can use to change the mouse size?

I've tried disabling Compiz and re-installing/changing my video accelerator driver but still does not work

I've notice that when I'm using Firefox, it shows the correct appearance and size that I configured in Appearance Window.

Thank you in advance.

Then I'd say report a bug.
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs

As for Natty you need to tell which shell is running, Unity, Gnome-classic with or without visual effects.
As for Unity, open a terminal: ctrl+alt+t
LANG=C ubuntu-bug unity

## this will collect and upload essential info for devs to triage.
