how to open terminal and repositories in ubuntu 11.04

actually the problem is I am not at all able to find out how to open terminal in this new version of ubuntu 11.04. Same problem lies with the repositories too. So kindly tell me how can I get access to terminal and repositories.

CTRL+ALT+T will open a terminal. You can add repositories in terminal, or you can run software centre and manage them there.

How about press ALT + F2 then type "gnome-terminal" (without quotes) for terminal or "synaptic" (without quotes) for synaptic package manager.
