unity desktop not running in natty

i have installed natty narwhal by live cd,
but every time it logs in ubuntu classic gnome desktop by default.
There is no unity desktop.
please help how to run unity.

Under in the login screen is a panel, by that panel you can choose your session.

Otherwise you don't have 3D support for you nVidia card or SiS chipset

I have desktop
Motherboard-Asus M2N MX SE Plus
Processor-AMD Athelon 4600+
Ram-2GB
Onboard Nvidia Card version-GeForce 6150 and nForce 430

on panel i select ubuntu desktop edition

You have to install the nouveau experimental 3D drivers. Install the following package: libgl1-mesa-dri-experimental

After installing that package you have to restart your computer

when i run command

sudo apt-get install -f

but if i run

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop unity

unity is already the newest version.

You have to type the folowing command:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -f && sudo apt-get install
ubuntu-desktop

The installation problem of ubuntu-desktop is cured automatically with upgrade. thanks for that.
But stile unity desktop not working.
When i log in as ubuntu desktop edition, there is no panel, no menubar, just a wallpaper is visible nothing else.

but if i log in as ubuntu desktop edition safe mode, then everythin works fine, but there is classic ubuntu desktop, no unity desktop.

Please help. Thanks

Try to reinstall unity and all his dependencies.
