Installed ubuntu-10.10-netbook-i386 but got full desktop environment

I installed ubuntu-10.10-netbook-i386 using Parallels into a new "computer". After I did this and logged in I got the full Gnome desktop experience. I was expecting the "netbook" experience. Is this configurable?

Sure, log off and click your username, at the bottom you can choose the environment you log into, choose what you like.
