about unity and wayland

today i got a news letter that stated mark S. plans to put unity and wayland in the release of 11.04 from what i have read about wayland it does not work well with intel,ati,nvidia,and a couple other graphics i don`t remember right now .
 so the question is how this going to work with all that is running well now ? 10.10 is great on my system .

Worry about wayland in a few years. No-one knows at this point; wayland is experimental at this stage.

Unity may be occuring sooner; I suspect it will be a "simplification" of the interface to cater to the casual user.

Tech-blogs like to ham it up -- I would pay them little regard.

you are wrong . it is built by a member of red hat and in use . unity is in netbook rc now and is listed in snaptic package manager , i installed it on my desktop to see what it was like . wayland is to replace x org server ,and is more lite weight . you can say what you want about tech blogs but i get almost as much info from them and ubuntu weekly news letter as i get from anywhere else .
