How to completely remove launchpad web app from Ubuntu ?

I am a newbie on Ubuntu, so I made a mistake and installed launchpad, but I don't want it! could someone please give me the appropriate command in order to uninstall launchpad and everything related?

I think it was a PPA, I was searching for photivo and I clicked on the wrong link, now it is on my ubuntu launcher and I just wnt it to go

Hello,

probably you speak about unity-webapps-launchpad package. This icon that appeared in browser when you visited the launchpad page.

You should now that lot of webapps are exist in various pages, I mean you will see again this prompt icon to install something, except if you click the "Don't ask me again" icon.

Now, in order to remove it , open a terminal (CTRL+ALT+T) and run:

    sudo apt-get remove unity-webapps-launchpad

If the icon remain in the launcher, right click and remove it from the launcher.
