Loading Facebook's Messenger site

Facebook now has a separate site for Messenger, which functions in a similar manner as the apps provided for smartphones. My question is, would it not make more sense to make this Unity Facebook Messenger Webapp load the Messenger site provided by Facebook ( https://www.messenger.com ) instead of Facebook homepage? Wouldn't that give us a full Facebook Messenger integrated with Ubuntu?
