mail is not checked

Asked by Alex

Hello.
I use Ubuntu 12.04 with the latest updates and I would like to describe to you a little problem.
I have a corporate mail which can be reached only by VPN, so if I don't turn on VPN I don't have access to the mail and Unity mail app is not able to check my emails. Usually it looks that Unity mail app hides count of mails if access is impossible and doesn't hide (shows zero or another number) if access is possible. However, when I turn on VPN and get access to the mail, Unity mail app still is not able to check my emails and continues to hide count of mails until I perform some actions: reload app or just open settings (account details). I think it is slightly incorrect behavior.

Thanks in advance.
Sincerely, Alexander.

Yes, please convert this to a bug report.

Also, please disconnect from your VPN, run "unity-mail" from Terminal, then connect back and let me know what it printed into the console.

Can you help with this problem?
