What does gtk3 SWT Java app need for appmenu/global menu?

I managed to get gtk2 apps running on headless containers to display global menu by forwarding the DBus socket. But gtk3 apps created using Java SWT toolkits like Eclipse and RSSOwl still does not show on the global menu. Is there a dependency or configuration I'm missing for the headless container?
