ndiswrapper stopped working after a certain update on Ubuntu 12.04

It does not happen often, but once in awhile after I updated my Ubuntu 12.04 via Update Manager, ndiswrapper stopped working. I have to re-install ndiswrapper to get it work again. Does anyone have similar problem?
