change sidebar icon size in unity-2d

Asked by Luís Francisco

When going to 'system settings>appearance' the only 2 parameters showing for personalizing the workspace looks are Background and Theme. The option for changing the sidebar icon size does not show.

System Settings (cog in top right) -> Appearance -> Look tab

Slide the slider to change the icon size.

I thought I had been accurate placing the question ... Apparently I did not succeed ...

Here's the point again:
What I meant was exactly that there is no such slider now.
Once, and just for a short "glimpse", that slider showed up and I used it accordingly.
Then it disappeared and never came back at sight again.
Where did it go? How can I make it show up again?

Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

What if you maximize the window?

What do you mean? The 'system settings > appearance' window?
If that is the case, I do not see how to do that ... There is no 'maximize' button or menu option. Only a 'close' and a 'minimize' buttons and corresponding menu options. And that applies not only to the 'system settings > appearance' but also to the proper 'system settings' window.

Yeah, a bit weird.

If you use myunity or ubuntu-tweak does it help?
