For example: open thunderbird, then, resize the window to the middle of the screen, finally minimize the window, when i click in the launcher to restore the window, it appear maximized not with the original size. In my case, it happen with Thunderbird, Firefox, GEdit, etc.

I could not replicate this problem in the Unity 2D window manager. What window manager are you using?

It is as you say. The problem occurs when the window size is a very large fraction of the desktop size (>90%). For more modest windows, the window manager handles restores with no problem. I can see that this might be a nuisance on a laptop with a small display.

(1) Work around the problem by resizing to a slightly smaller size and (2) file a bug.
