Which ocaml-Version is unsion-2.48.3 (Xenial) build with?

Hi,
can you please specifie the exact version of Ocaml you used to build that unison package?

Open the link that you provided in your question, and below the heading "Downloadable files" you will find a link "i386 build of unison 2.48.3-1ubuntu1 in ubuntu xenial PROPOSED" leading to https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unison/2.48.3-1ubuntu1/+build/9369029
On that page you can look at the buildlog, and there you will find (among others)

ocaml-compiler-libs 4.02.3-5ubuntu2

Thanks. I will remember that buildlog-thing for the next time.

Let me specialize my question please. I am not sure about the "connetion" between Launchpad and the official Ubuntu releases.

What is about the unison package shiped with the offical Ubuntu 16.04 LTS repositories? Is this the same - including the buildlog.
So can I assume that the "official xenial unsion" is build against ocaml 3.02.3-5ubuntu2?

background:
I downloaded the package manually and installed the deb file on a Ubuntu Trusty. But I still have problems using this unison with a Debian unstable unison. So I need that information for diagnoses.

The .deb packages on the official Ubuntu repository servers are those that have been built on Launchpad.
(Just download the unison package from the archives.ubuntu.com server and from launchpad.net, compare them, and they should be identical.)
What ocaml version was used for the debian unstable build of unison?

By the way, it seems that you mistyped the version, not 3.02.3-5ubuntu2 but 4.02.3-5ubuntu2

It would be very nice to know why Debian unstable use an "old" compiler and Ubuntu (which is based on Debian!) another one?
