can I use ulogd with ufw?

Asked by m4v on 2009-12-03

I'm switching from my usual script for set iptables rules to ufw.
Everything works fine except that I can't use ulogd with ufw, if I set a rule with the ULOG target in before.rules there's an error when enabling ufw, is this a limitation of ufw? with the iptables command it works.

I'm using ufw 0.16.2.4 in Ubuntu 8.04

ulogd is not currently available for UFW. There is a feature comparison of UFW for 8.04 vs 9.10 at:
