Ubuntuone-control-panel-qt explore cloud folders - feature proposal

Asked by Patrick Seemann

I don't know if this is a planned feature or if I'm missing something, but here is my problem:

When using the ubuntuone-control-panel-qt application I can only choose to sync a folder locally or use it as a cloud folder. When a folder is synced locally, you can click the explore button and nautilus will open presenting you the folder. This is the intended behavior, but:

You cannot do this with a cloud folder (of course), because it is not synced. To explore your cloud folders you have to visit the Ubuntu one web interface.

It would be much easier and more convenient if you could browse some sort of cloud folder listing through the Ubuntu one control panel, where you could select folders/files to download/delete etc. This would enable you to stay within the Ubuntu one control panel. I think syncing every folder you want to explore is not an option, because if hard drive space is limited you don't want to sync everything locally.

Not really sure if this was the right place to ask this kind of question?
