I would like to use Ubuntu One to share files between my two Ubuntu laptops

It looks as if Ubuntu One offers users some storage space out there in "a cloud". If so I would like to be able to access this storage from boih of my Ubuntu laptops, Is this possible or am I misunderstanding something?
I am using the same identity (my email address) on both machines and have saved files to Ubuntu One on one machine and hope (in vain so far) to see the same files in Ubuntu One on the other machine.
Can anyone help me? Thanks.
