Ubuntu One: what should that be???

Asked by TimEisert

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

Hi, why does the Ubuntu One client not ask for a login and password??? Should be my local login the same like the Ubuntu One login??? There is a button on the left side "connect" but with that data??? Dropbox asks for a login and password and if it should be safed. When I logon with Firefox I see me files. How should that file be connected to my local computer???
I don't know in what environment people test these things or what they think about the users. Best regards, Tim

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. For help on reporting bugs, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs .

i believe if you look in applications -> accessories -> passwords and encryption keys there is a keyring that tells ubuntu one to connect to your account

Can you help with this problem?
