How much time it usually take between release of new version of source and client installer?

I see that source of v 4.2.0 which solves important for me bug is released but Windows client installer available for download is still v.4.1.91.1. What's usual time gap between new source release and client installer release for download?

In gross twice a year april and october also LTS long time support editions in past 3 years
