I'd also love to know how you fixed it. Ubuntu one is syncing perfectly on my old desktop but giving the same error as you on my new laptop (fresh install of natty)

Hi
Try this I had problems again...but this worked

Neil

AUTH_FAILED is sometimes caused by a corrupt Token. Could you plese try the
following and let me know if it improves your issue.

1. Quit the Ubuntu One Preferences (if Open)
2. Open System->Preferences->Passwords and Encryption Keys
3. Click on the arrow next to "Passwords"
4. Right-click on the Ubuntu One token and select "Delete"
5. Go to https://one.ubuntu.com/account/machines/
6. Click on the checkbox next to your computer
7. Click the "Remove selected computers" button
8. Open Me Menu->Ubuntu One or System --> Preferences --> Ubuntu One
9. a window should open, prompting you to add your computer to your Ubuntu One
account
10. Add your computer

Now try and sync a file and see if you get an AUTH_FAILED. You can get the
status of your syncdaemon by running the following command in a Terminal:

u1sdtool --status
