Does anyone know how ubuntuone-syncdaemon gets started?

Asked by jbowen7 on 2010-10-07

I've checked in the rc?.d files, init, init.d, and I can't figure out how it's starting. I didn't see it in ~/.config/autostart/.

Any ideas?

I should be more clear:

I know how it starts (python /usr/lib/ubuntuone-client/ubuntuone-syncdaemon)

but I'm curious as to how it gets called.

priobably in /etc/rc.local

Nope,

/etc/rc.local

doesn't do much anymore.

#!/bin/sh -e
#
# rc.local
#
# This script is executed at the end of each multiuser runlevel.
# Make sure that the script will "exit 0" on success or any other
# value on error.
#
# In order to enable or disable this script just change the execution
# bits.
#
# By default this script does nothing.

exit 0

Sorry Sam,
The simple web search didn't return the answer.
