WPA2-Enterprise Wifi connection

Asked by Christopher Clark

Is it possible to connect my E4.5 Ubuntu Phone to a WPA2-Enterprise Wifi. My corporate Wifi uses this and I'm keen to access it?

It looks like it possible from the command line, see http://www.danbishop.org/2015/02/21/add-eduroam-or-any-other-802-1x-wireless-network-to-ubuntu-phone/. I will try this out but it would be nice to do from the GUI.

Currently, Wifi network is visible, selecting it briefly displays a screen with two options 'Previous Networks' and 'Connect to hidden Network' then screen returns to list of available networks.

Should I report this as a bug/enhancement?

Got it working using example at http://www.danbishop.org/2015/02/21/add-eduroam-or-any-other-802-1x-wireless-network-to-ubuntu-phone/ with a few tweeks for my corporate network. Would be nice to have an option in the GUI at some point in the future.
