Which package to play mp3 files

I am installed Ubuntu 9.04. I am just try to play a song using movie player. But a error was found.
The error is No packages with the requested plugins found (MPEG-1 Layer 3 (MP3) decoder). But login Sound is working properly. Where get that plugins & how to install.

You can go to Applications --> Add/Remove ... and type mp3 in Search field. You'll get a list of applications related to the search term. Second item should be GStreamer extra plugins. Install them and you can play mp3 audio files.
