Does anyone know when f2fs support will be added to the Ubuntu installer? In which version is this expected to happen?

Are you asking about the installer or the release-upgrader?

Have you tried the following:
Boot the Ubuntu installer in the "Try Ubuntu without installing" mode, install f2fs-tools (and eventually libf2fs-dev), and then start the installer from the desktop in that session.

Can you help with this problem?
