It has a firewall built in. You only need AV if you are running a fileserver with Windows clients (to protect them from each other) or a mail server. If you connect to the web behind a router, you don't need to configure the firewall.

In the Linux world viruses are pretty much unheard of so you probably don't need any unless you are running a server and have Windows machines to protect.

Provided that you have passwords on all accounts (that change change anything), spend very little time (if any) logged in as root. Ubuntu does not even generate a root account by default; use of sudo is recommended instead.

You should be OK.

but see here

If you are sure you want antivirus however try here

Can you help with this problem?
