Keyboard Lag

hey guys, I seem be haaaaa n odd problemwith my tallation of ubuntu 12.04

What I actually tried typing was:

"Hey guys, I seem to be having an odd problem with my installation of ubuntu 12.04"

Sometimes it's as if the key presses that I make aren't registered at all. And it's gotten increasingly frustrating because it now takes much longer for me to type out ANYTHING!

How can I fix this?

I am using a laptop, an HP Pavilion dv6-6140us - so it's not an issue of an external keyboard. I want to make a total switch to Ubuntu, but this is driving me nuts!

please check your system RAM.. looks like your memory exhausting during booting and many operation ..

do a memtest from grub menu and see if RAM is healthy ...

also check df -h for disk uses see if your disk is full or have sufficient space left ...

may be IO Wait is increased .. but we will look at this later ... first check RAM and HardDisk
