how to delete all log files in ubuntu 12.04

Asked by bhaskar

I am using Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin without any problems. I want to delete all my log files without effecting the original ubuntu system. Can you give me solution to delete all these logs and give some knowledge on how to delete these files.
At the same time i want to recover the space occupied by all the cache files and provide the solution for this problem too.

You can use bleachbit carefully to erase all manner of unnecessary logs and temp files. Have as many apps closed as possible and run it as user then as root (it will make 2 menu items). Avoid steps that say they will take a long time but it does a good job

Can you help with this problem?
