log in problem could not update ICEauthority file ...

after log in it says could not update ICEauthority file/home/krnayar/.ICEauthority. And then, it says There is a problem with the configuration server.
(/usr/lib/libconf2-4/gconf-sanity-check-2 exited with status 256
after that it says persmission denied

Boot to root recovery mode and run:

chown krnayar:krnayar /home/krnayar/.ICEauthority
reboot

no it does not help.says invalid group

The groupname is the same as your username. If it still doesn't work, just use:

chown krnayar /home/krnayar/.ICEauthority
reboot
