weather doesn't launch correctly on Ubuntu 8.04

Asked by Mauricio Corredor

I think so that my Ubuntu is an old relese, 8 version more axactly, but is in according with my Hewell Packard CPU, but disk space is shared with Windows Vista. The main problem is when beging HP computer system the weather remains hours in HP blue brand and F11, F9 and ESC doesn t work, next the computer trait to start Ubuntu or Windows and remain hours in black environment with cursor alone and nothing more. Next if I restart twice and three times and finally let me enter to Ubuntu but if I try Windows Vista doesn t start. I think is a hardward problem, but I think It could be a conflict betweeen system problem. Thanks for yous comments and advices.

Seems to be a hardware/BIOS issue and 8.04/Hardy is EOL anyway.

Hardy is only supported on the server, I suggest a clean install of Precise.

Can you help with this problem?
