Ubuntu 12.04 unstable, Precise: fails to reboot

Asked by Binoy Babu on 2012-03-09

I'm trying out ubuntu precise 12.04. Since last update it fails to boot.

It just gets stuck in a blank magenta screen.

I'm not able to see any error of any kind.

How do I fix this?

edit : I'm using Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, ASUS P5PKL AMPS Motherboard and ASUS EAH4350 GPU.

What GPU do you use?
Does the system have a make and model?

I'm using Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, ASUS P5PKL AMPS Motherboard and ASUS EAH4350 GPU.

Why was that not in your initial question!?

Do you get the issue after the first boot after an upgrade, or is this a clean install?

Its a clean install. It was working fine till i installed a few updates.

Then I suggest you report a bug. Precise is not ready and not stable

Can you help with this problem?
