Asked by Bob Bib

Should I change the bug status to "Fix Released", if it was fixed only in new Ubuntu release and not in the old affected one?

That's generally how it's done: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Status

For the record, can you post a link to the bug?

I know.. and I provided the answer:

If a bug is fixed in the current development release, it is Fix Released. If the bug also needs to be fixed in a stable release, use the "Target to release" link to nominate it for that release.
