How to make the beautiful and light Enlightenment (E17) the only window manager in Ubuntu 11.10?
I have found and installed E17 in the repos. but E17 is now only an alternate login and window manager optional to
Ubuntu at login. I would like to have only the E17.

If you install the minimal ISO then install the same enlightenment WM then you will get only E17. Personally I wouldn't sweat it that there is the other stuff installed. Does it interfere with the OS?

As actionparsnip said if doesn´t interfere with OS then you can let it be as it is.If you want to remove other desktops see http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/purexfce but DO NOT RUN LAST COMMAND ( sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop ).That will leave you only E17.

Can you help with this problem?
