Cannot restore previous login windows

I am using Ubuntu 11, and have not been able to find out where I can click a nice checkbox that says, "remember previous windows and programs open from previous logon".
Windows does a great job of keeping this consistent in their "Folder Options". But not sure what Ubuntu 11 has done to Startup Preferences.
