Need to reinstall desktop from command line 10.04

I've inadvertently removed the desktop from 10.01 so when I log in I get a really ugly white box with the command prompt.

I am hoping someone can guide me to the correct syntax to reinstall this from the command line.

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
