If you want to help then you can give answers to questions that you know answers.You can do bug reporting when every new series of ubuntu comes out.Every version has 6 alpha version & beta version which are released so that people can use it & if they find any bugs they can report it so that when they final release is out there won't be any bugs.You can even translate ubuntu to your own language by going to https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu.

This is generally the best way to start.

Good Luck

Ubuntu offers a number of ways (and tools like Launchpad) to help:

* be it as a part of creating documentation,
* packaging software,
* triaging bugs,
* answering questions,
* translating software,
* creating blueprints for new features,
* contributing code to various projects
* answering questions in IRC on freenode (check out the various ubuntu channels)
* participating in the Ubuntu Forums
* Evangelizing Linux and Ubuntu on your own or through a LoCo team

There's a ton of stuff you can do. Start small with something you are comfortable with and work from there.

Trying to Install Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix on a Dell Inspiron 1100, downloaded ISO on Separate PC, Burned Image 3 Different Ways using Infraburner, Insert DVD into DVD Drive on Laptop Turned on Laptop- NOTHING!
Formatted HD using XP Disk Inserted Ubuntu ISO disk Turned on Comuter It returned error saying
Ndtlr not found
(Which is a Windows File)
Unable to Boot with ISO file.
Searched for specific Burning Instructions on how to Properly Burn and Check and Install Ubuntu
Unable to locate this Information
Typing in "How to Install Ubuntu" into Google and Ubuntu Forums returns nothing useful.
Home Page for Ubuntu.com does not display link for "How to install Ubuntu"
Documentation Page for Ubuntu does not display link for "How to install Ubuntu"

I know I found info on this subject when I installed 8.10 so what happened to it?

Being that Installing Ubuntu is usually STEP 1 for most people, I would think it might be easier to find information about it.
Just a thought.

Can you help with this problem?
