Again Ubuntu is NOT keeping accurate Time and date in Virtualbox

Asked by Snooper

Again Ubuntu is NOT keeping accurate Time and date in Virtualbox:

I 'Thought' this was solved bu making sure the Windows Time service was set to running properly
UNTIL CANONICAL UBUNTU upgraded libray c this morning.
NOW THIS ISSUE HAS RETURNED BECAUSE OF THIS UPGRADE!!!
REGARDLESS OF WINDOWS TIME SERVICE SETTINGS

THIS DEMONSTRATES THAT THIS ISSUE IS DEFINITELY BEING CAUSED BY UBUNTU
WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FINALLY FIX IT? WHEN??

For diagnostic purposes and to verify whether your settings are correct, what is the output of the commands

timedatectl status
sudo hwclock --set --date "`LANG=C date`"
timedatectl status
systemctl status vboxadd-service

(Remark: You have to press the "q" key after the last command to get back to the command prompt.)
