Why is Ubuntu Repeatedly NOT starting up its GUI in Virtual Box?

Why is Ubuntu Repeatedly NOT starting up its GUI in Virtual Box?

I am having to constantly Reset the System Time With Every RESTORE FROM VIRTUALBOX SNAPSHOT
Further, I am wondering if this is also affecting 'Upgrades' that have to initialize anything 'On the Next Reboot.' As I am being constantly FORCED to RESTORE FROM VIRTUALBOX SNAPSHOT every time because the GUI Does NOt START as it hangs at a Black Screen with just a Blinking "_ " at the top left of the screen.

Which release are you using please and which DE?
If you are using Virtualbox I can suggest Xubuntu
Make sure you have the Virtualbox Additions

Can you help with this problem?
