Google is apparently Disabling All Audio on HTML5 Youtube Videos. I have repeatedly checked Audio Settings in System Settings, nothing is muted, and audio test of left and right stereo channel audio performs without issue. And I also checked alsamixer settings. I can go to another ‘Live Cam’ web site which has a live audio microphone, and it’s audio works. - How can We fix this, so that Google-Youtube is not constantly cutting off the audio?

What browsers have you tried?
Is it OK in Chrome?

*I am NOT switching browsers. I want this issue Fixed. I am using Mozilla Firefox. This Issue began with an Upgrade of Libc codex a few upgrades ago. according to Settings, Audio, Applications: Mozilla Firefox uses its 'Audio IPC Server'. What happens on HTML5 Video Playback of ANALOG STEREO AUDIO PLAYBACK. (Because some of us have Older Systems With ANALOG Soundcards. that do not use SPDIF NOR DIGITAL sound routing) ..(Especially on Google's Youtube) is that while the music remains to the Analog Stereo Output - suddenly the Vocal Tracks become missing or barely audible - as though some codec got screwed-up and is shunting this to Surround Sound Or Digital Only Outputs. WHEN ANALOG STEREO OUTPUT IS SELECTED.

Additional: If I Reboot the Computer the Audio Playback is recovered ..For about 30 seconds into the playback. Then it seems to get automatically switched by some malcoded codec back to the Issue as described.

Further Additional: This may Not be related, but may it might be.. compounding the issue? I have also noted that according to Settings, Audio, Applications: when this happens the web site of Facebook.com has added FIVE INSTANCES of' Speech Dispatcher'.

The fact that I can successfully run the "Test Sound" option for both Left and Right Speakers regardless. under the Sound Settings, Output Tab. Proves that this is NOT an issue with either the hardware of the sound card nor the amplified speakers.

Monday July 30, 2018. 01:50PM PDT - Google/Youtube Apparently Switched something to cause it to happen again. Either that or Canonical Ubuntu Is Doing Something causing the audio to be Incorrectly routed: - FIX YOUR HTML5 PLAYER ANALOG STEREO AUDIO - IT IT BARELY HAS ANY VOCAL TRACKS HIGHLY MUTED AND REVERBED - LIKE YOU ARE TRYING TO FORCE SURROUND SOUND SOUND CHANNELS ONLY!! - SOME OF US HAVE ANALOG STEREO SOUND CARDS
