UPDATES/UPGRADES UEFI and not MBR ?

Thursday march 22, 2018. - Why do we seem to be being notified today of a series of 'do nothing' updates/upgrades which seem to be completely overlooking the fact that there are still users out here that have 32 bit MBR and NOT UEFI systems?

2. can anything be done about constant Mozilla Firefox Browser freeze ups That Completely Disable ALL keyboard and Mouse Interface functions over the last two months? - This Disabling NEVER used to happen.

Do other web browsers cause the issue?
What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; apt-cache policy firefox

1. Can you please go a bit more into detail, which "'do nothing' updates/upgrades" you a referring to - and at least tell us which Ubuntu release you are running?

2. If you have permanent problems with Firefox, then I recommend that you test other browsers (e.g. chromium), to check whether you see similar freeze ups.
