gnome network admin in Ubuntu 17.04

Asked by Fred Senior

can you release a network manager as described in

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/NetworkAdmin

The version described in the above link is not version install via apt install in Ubuntu 17.04 and is missing many of the functions.

The main important function are network locations. I take my Ubuntu laptop to different organisations that have different network settings, dns settings and domain and search settings.

I will have to manually change theme several times a week as I need a network manager that stores network locations.

Please help.

I suggest you report a bug. If the features are significant then the package will be updated sooner rather than later

16.10 support ends next month. I suggest 16.04 as it is LTS and supported til April 2021

Can you help with this problem?
