Viewing Hidden Files - Ubuntu 16.04

How do I view hidden files in Ubuntu 16.04? I have no top menu when I open the File Manager.

Assuming you are using the default file manager in Ubuntu (called Nautilus), try:

Ctrl+H

What he said up there or find an empty space inside the file box where you dont highlight a file and right click>..
