Slow Internet Access Speed

Asked by Mokie

Ever since Firefox soft blocked Flash AND subsequent Firefox AND UBUNTU updates my Internet access speed has dropped from the 50Mbps which is being PAID FOR to less than 20 Mbps ..WHEN WILL UBUNTU or FIREFOX RECTIFY THIS? All other Non Linux computers on this Hard Wired Modem/Router DO NOT have this Access Speed Throttling Issue, and access at the full 50 Mbps speed. Have run full diagnostics on both Cable Modem and Router They are NOT the cause of this issue. Even swapped out routers with the same Access Speed THROTTLING ..ONLY ON UBUNTU MACHINES!! How can this Access Speed THROTTLING be disabled?

Why have you given zero details about the system?

You haven't stated the network chip you are using...
You haven't stated the make and model of the system...
You haven't even stated the release of Ubuntu...

Drop the emotional crap and just stick to the facts and we can advise. We cannpt give advice off the back of a childish rant.

Think about it
