Can't boot windows xp

I instaled ubuntu after windows xp and didn't use xp since then but now i'm in need of some files and i need to boot xp but i can't, the computer just restarts.
Please help me!

Why do you not have a backup of these files?

You can mount the NTFS from within Ubuntu and access the data that way.

I suggest you either evaluate your backup regime, or get one.
